Entry Process

How to enter

Due to popular demand, the entry deadline for the Housing Heroes Awards has been extended by one week

You have until 5pm on Friday 24 February to submit your entry. Don’t miss your last chance to enter or nominate a colleague.

You do not have to complete your entry in one sitting. Partially complete entries can be saved for later and can be edited until the entry deadline.

The awards are free to enter.

Finalists will be announced in Inside Housing magazine on Friday 14 April and invited to take part in a judging day on Friday 21 April at CIH London offices. Winners will then be announced at a black tie award ceremony taking place on Monday 26th of June at Manchester Central.

Eligibility

The awards recognise achievements undertaken in the 2016 calendar year

Our awards are very simple to enter and are open to anyone involved in the housing sector – just about anyone is eligible to enter at least one category. Entries are encouraged from housing associations, councils and Almos from across the whole of the UK.

Entries can also be completed by consultants or colleagues working on behalf of entrants (for example by PR or marketing departments). In some categories you may nominate a colleague.

Writing your entry

All entrants must answer the questions set out for the category/ies that they are entering using the online entry form.

Each submission must also include two high-quality photographs, relevant to your entry. These pictures will be used at the award ceremony and in publicity material if you are successful. Photos must be landscape and must be provided as a high resolution electronic image (jpeg) with a minimum of 300dpi. You will be asked to upload their images as part of the online entry form.

Partially completed entries can be saved for completion later and may be edited until the entry deadline.

The awards effectively recognise achievements undertaken in the 2016 calendar year.

To submit your online entry, go to Enter Now page and create or log in to an account.
